  • Full Board Meals: All meals are included, from dinner on Day 1 to lunch on Day 6. This includes breakfast, lunch (often a picnic lunch during game drives), and dinner each day.

  • Travel and Medical Insurance: It is highly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance before your trip, as this is not included in the package.
  • Accommodation Before and After Safari: The package only covers accommodation during the 6 days and 5 nights of the safari. Any lodging required before the start of the tour or after the final drop-off is excluded.
  • Tipping/Gratuities: Gratuities for your safari guide, lodge staff, and porters are not included in the price. Tipping is a customary practice in the safari industry.
  • Personal Expenses: This includes items of a personal nature such as laundry service, telephone calls, souvenirs, and other shopping.

    This safari is a classic driving tour with game drives in a 4x4 vehicle. While it does not require a high level of physical fitness, there are a few important considerations:

    • Mobility: The tour involves long hours of sitting in a safari vehicle on unpaved, bumpy roads. You will need to be able to get in and out of the vehicle independently or with minimal assistance. The Land Cruiser has a higher clearance and may require a step to enter.
    • Accessibility: Standard safari vehicles are not equipped for wheelchairs. However, many tour operators, like some of the ones in this search, can arrange for specially modified vehicles with hydraulic lifts, wider doors, and secure tie-downs for an additional cost. If you or someone in your party requires wheelchair accessibility, it is essential to communicate this at the time of booking so that the necessary arrangements can be made with specialized lodges and vehicles.
